UK Labour Member. We won. Now let’s deliver. But taking money off vulnerable people is not the answer to the country’s problems. So let’s not do that 🫡

It is important as many of us do so as possible.

I share my email below - feel free to use parts of it, through it is always better to try and come up with your own bespoke letter (I used AI to help with mine).

It has been reported that the Winter Paralympics will allow a number of Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete under their repective flags and anthems at the Paralympics next month

I have written to the IPC to express my concerns and ask them to reconsider.

Every way Nigel Farage's policies would hammer families if Reform wins power.
Abandoning net zero targets.
Labour has previously said Mr Farage’s “war on clean energy” and net zero would threaten over 950,000 jobs in thriving industries across the country.

The UK has formally opened the British Embassy Office in Lviv.

Expanding the UK's diplomatic presence in Ukraine is part of the two countries commitments under the UK-Ukraine 100 Year Partnership - which is seeing them deepend and grow their relationship.

Image of the quote from the PM is in the article below, reported by ITV here: www.itv.com/news/2026-02...
What was in the manifesto?

"Labour will also remove the discriminatory age bands, so all adults are entitled to the same minimum wage."

Today the PM said "We’ve made commitments to young people in our manifesto and we will keep to those commitments."

If you don't know how all this works now here is a perfect example....

Yesterday: Reform were asked about minimum wage and the outcome was that they will reduce it - worrying people and getting some negative press.

Today: an unsourced, anonymously briefed, speculative story is 'revealled'...

...about how Labour MIGHT slow or stop equalising the different rates of minimum pay, despite a manifesto promise to do so.

To stop negative media about Reform and hide their true intentions, a negative story about the government is fabricated and put out there.

And not for the first time...

What happens to the media fans of Farage/Reform as they slide down the polls?.

At what point will they realise they backed the wrong horse and that Brits don’t do populism.

More importantly what will they do?

They'd already changed it to pay for their cheaper pints policy. Apparently we can afford that.
Jenrick: "As a signal of intent, today, Reform is changing our policy on the two-child cap for Universal Credit. The policy was well-meaning. We want to help working families have more children. But right now, we just cannot afford to do so with welfare. So it has to go."

Beyond outrage, always check the FACTS in what Farage says.

It wasn't "the day after" Mandelson story broke, but six days later, and it was also on FT front. Reform story wasn't "silly". Head of Kent DOGE told FT they hadn't found any savings, denied it when Farage had a tantrum, and had to resign.
