Mairi Mcallan mistakenly references Brian Epstein as the sex offender linked with Peter Mandelson. No doubt that gaff raised a smile from David Bowie, the Tory MP sat next to her. #BBCqt

journalists. Solidarity on a terrible day. But also: it’s an opportunity. The @theguardian.com also fucked over its journalists last year.

This is an incredible read.
Very impressive. Françoise Thom, who may be France's premier Russia analyst, writing before release of the Epstein files had a very firm grip on what they would show in terms of Epstein's relationship with the Russian intelligence services and what they were up to in the US, UK and EU.

Hockey pads Dark Knight perhaps.
Tory MP Luke Evans, Shadow Health minister, said in the #Mandelson debate in the Commons that "he was known, literally for decades, as 'The Dark Knight'". No he was not. For starters 'the Dark Knight' was a goodie; which Mandelson is not.

Anyone who describes a 14-year-old as a "woman" needs their hard driving analysed.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein asked an exotic dancer for a threesome at the late paedophile’s Florida home, legal letters claim.

Lawyers also claimed the party at Epstein’s West Palm Beach home included women “as young as 14 years old”.

If you're like me and love #6music but not necessarily between 1-4pm midweek, you can always instead listen to this particularly good episode from Guy Garvey, with Elizabeth Alker as guest. 13 days remaining before it's gone!
I highly recommend listening to Guy Garvey's show from this afternoon.
He chats to the amazing @elizabethalker.bsky.social, author of Everything We Do is Music: How 20th-Century Classical Music Shaped Pop, includes a bit on how The Beatles' Tomorrow Never Knows was made
