Increasingly clear that these ICE arrest operations are gearing up not because of the actual immigrants, who in all but a tiny handful of cases go along quietly, but because they’re getting so much pushback from onlookers.

So true! Iain McCaig once told me to 'draw the stuff you'd run naked through the snow to see'. It's advice I cling to when I think I shouldn't be drawing something cooler, or less cute, or whatever thing my brain rats tell me I shouldn't be doing. That love shines through the art.
Make art that you think is fuckin sick as hell. Make the shit you never thought you could that you always wanted to see. Beat your insecurity to death and fight to become your own favorite artist.
