I am a trained legal observer with experience that goes back years and hundreds of protests at this point. I have even observed protests and movements I disagreed with! “Monitoring” is a right and maybe even a duty of citizens—not a reason to be executed on the streets

I know Minneapolis is crazy right now but if you are in a different city and thinking “I could never be a legal observer” yes you can. It’s not all like Minneapolis- most of the time it is boring and we don’t see ICE. But we NEED numbers- people to go out and check the veracity of an ICE sighting.
