Weird thing happening in DC’s Union Market now: black helicopter with zero identifying info has been hovering outside two high-rise apartment buildings—Theory and Margarite.

Helicopter hovering over NoMa-Gallaudet Metro Station. No immediate word on why, but chopper with same registration has been used by Amtrak to survey power lines along train tracks along Northeast Corridor.

@popville.bsky.social there was a very low flying helicopter over the train tracks in NoMa just now. Looked like someone was taking photos of the train tracks towards Union Station — any idea what’s happening?
