There is a growing call to primary any Democrat that provides blind support to Israel. Imagine their surprise when establishment Dems start losing races in droves.

Dems will be condemned to continuing losses and piddling incremental gains if they keep treating their constituents as if they’re not seeing what they’re seeing. We’re not all dumb.
April 4, 2025 at 10:59 PM
The lesson the Democrats seem to have difficultly with is that Americans don’t want politicians beholden to Israel. It’s one thing to support Israel, it’s another thing entirely to turn a blind eye and deny (or actively support) what’s happening in that region.

At first, I was proud. But then…

Senator Cory Booker @booker.senate.gov broke a filibuster record with a 25-hour speech about moral courage and resisting fascism, then turned around and voted to arm a government committing genocide.

This is what we mean when we say “woke” and “DEI” just mean Black. Odd how the folks who insist race no longer matters and so we shouldn’t discuss it or acknowledge it, get really upset when a person who is not white plays a favorite fictional character. www.theguardian.com/film/2025/fe...

Seems to me if ICE really wanted to do mass immigration raids they’d go to the factory farms, not urban areas such as Chicago. But mass raids on factory farms would likely put our nation’s food production to a halt, so I guess this is more a fear and optics game.

Because people are correctly interpreting MAGA’s use of the terms “DEI” and “woke” to mean Black.
The White House didn't say "stop teaching about the Tuskegee Airmen when you do US history." The White House said "stop doing DEI and wokeness," and the military interpreted it as "stop saying the Tuskegee Airmen were heroes, and maybe stop teaching about them altogether."

Yeah, that's bad.
Here's the thing about the Tuskegee Airmen history - there was nothing in the EO about it. Someone in the Air Force interpreted it that way -- which is far worse.

To instrumentalize what my sister is saying below: every time someone says DEI say “you mean civil rights?” Every time someone says they are against woke reply “oh so you’re a segregationist!” Words have meaning! Don’t allow that nonsense to stand.
Only saying once on bsky b/c I know it is not entirely useful, but it is totally exhausting that in 2016 some of us said “they’re Nazis,” some of us screamed “they’re segregationists,” and a whole lot of very serious people now posting about them being Nazis and segregationists gaslight us for years

A reminder for y'all since there's been nonstop siegeposting on this app
If you MUST repost a racist or bigoted flyer, graffiti, screenshot, or meme — deface it first.

Defacing helps to prevent the thing being easily pickd up and reposted by fascists.

Antifascists often use the traditional three Iron Front arrows across the image, because no fascist wants to spread it.

ICE raids are apparently planned for Chicago, and probably other progressive cities, starting Tuesday. If you or anyone you know are undocumented or are likely to be targeted, take precautions.

This Apple xR product is getting a lot of hype. No doubt, an Apple xR product announcement would be a huge deal, but it’s being extremely over-hyped. It will not have anywhere near the impact as the iPhone, as a lot of folks are claiming.
