This sort of democratic backsliding, where Republicans seek to overturn the effect of an election by reallocating powers away from positions they have lost, has become almost routine now. But it should remain shocking.

Feels like both Donny and Darius are getting out of some of the things that have been working well this year and not getting the ball up the court very quickly. They have been working really hard on D though.

I always thought vaccines wore off because of the mutation rate of viruses but then I hear people saying to put off getting a flu vaccine until late October because then protection will last through 1/

Environmental movements should lead with tangible air quality improvements and let decarbonization be the side benefit. Many civilians value cleaner air (eg, people with asthma, who exercise, have kids or aging parents, etc) but think climate change, though serious, is fairly distant and abstract.
