Darius Garland just went back to the locker room after that take foul. He didn't run down the floor the possession prior. It's the second time he's gone back to the locker room tonight.

#Cavs trail Miami at halftime 62-53 after a disastrous close to the half. The Heat closed things out on a 20-5 run over the last 4:14. All around bad half after a promising start.

#Cavs just had to burn a timeout trying to get the ball in on the side after a foul. They've only got four left for the final 33 minutes of this game. Given how fast Miami is intent on playing, that could be an issue.

#Cavs lead the Heat 30-25 at the end of the first quarter. Thought the Cavs were better than their score would indicate offensively. They're just 3-of-15 on 3s so far and plenty of them have been very good looks. Miami got back into it really pushing the pace.

#Cavs beat the Wizards 148-114. Yes, Washington is among the worst teams in the NBA, but this was exactly how the Cavs should look in that setting. Offense looked elite once again and the defense had strong moments. Second night of a back-to-back tomorrow against Chicago.

#Cavs lead the Wizards 76-59 at the half. The Wizards stink, but this is easily the most complete half of offense the Cavs have played all season. Sam Merrill and Darius Garland both have 14 points, Jarrett Allen has 12, Evan Mobley has 11.

#Cavs lead the Wizards 39-26 after the first quarter. Offense looked very good once again for the Cavs to start here. Ball movement has been better, they're getting into the paint more frequently and it's leading to really good looks from the outside.
