#Cavs lose to the Knicks 126-124 on Christmas Day. Cavs led for over 35 minutes of this one but had brutal second and fourth quarters. They led by 17 in the fourth but couldn't get it done.
Some good signs mixed into what's ultimately a bad loss.

#Cavs lose to the Knicks 126-124 on Christmas Day. Cavs led for over 35 minutes of this one but had brutal second and fourth quarters. They led by 17 in the fourth but couldn't get it done.

Donovan Mitchell just threw down a lob from halfcourt from Darius Garland and the #Cavs are back in front 68-63. Very nice start to the second half for Cleveland.

#Cavs beat the Pelicans 141-118 in a very impressive offensive performance. Donovan Mitchell had 27, Sam Merrill had 22 and Cleveland hit 20 3-pointers for the second straight game.

#Cavs have opened up a 21 point lead on New Orleans with 2:38 left in the third quarter and they look like the team they were supposed to be. It's not perfect, but it's night and day from what they looked like less than a week ago.

Sam Merrill just hit his 5th 3-pointer of the night to put the #Cavs up 82-70 with 8:23 left in the third quarter. The Cavs have looked drastically different on that end of the floor in the past two games with him back.

#Cavs lead the Pelicans 32-22 after the first quarter. Cavs have 12 assists on their first 13 makes. One of the more complete quarters they've had lately. All nine guys that played for Cleveland scored. Jaylon Tyson leads the way with 7 off the bench.

Think this is a very promising start for the #Cavs. Feels like it's the first time in a long time we've seen them stack good performances. It's very early, but a good start at the very least.
