Crystal Palace potentially ending a terrible run by playing out of form Brighton, the Premier League bottom 2 and Zrinjski twice as 5 consecutive matches

Let's just say that's probably the fixtures you'd pick (but then, we failed vs Macclesfield) #cpfc

Opposition to the “doxxing” of law enforcement is advocacy for having secret police.

There is a vast swathe of criminal and media law that social media sites have somehow convinced successive governments that they're exempt from. "But we wouldn't be able to exist as we currently do if we had to obey the law" is not an argument that would be accepted from any other industry.

Private Eye have, incidentally, never apologized to anywhere near the extent necessary for their role in promoting this.
I don't exaggerate when I say that Andrew Wakefield should be tried for mass murder. We'll never know how many people have died or will die as a direct result of his fraudulent study.
This is the large domino, with the small domino being some random quack in the UK in 1998 trying to undermine the existing MMR vaccine so his business partner can swoop in with his own. Instead he lost his work credentials and now kids are dying needlessly all over the world, so great job everyone.

to me, the simplest argument against body cams as reform is that they executed a poet and a nurse in the streets while being aware they were on camera from multiple angles. and in the case of renee good, the shooter even filmed it himself.

No, not X
Why anyone would give this fucking company money utterly escapes me. I am amazed that they still manage to amaze me with how shit they are.

That is an ICE agent pepper spraying a restrained victim in the face at close quarters; it's an unquestionable and indefensibly abusive use of excessive force that should (but won't) be criminally prosecuted as assault

Here’s the really bad part: over time, this dynamic breeds bigger and bigger crises.

Markets keep updating their beliefs about TACO, so it takes ever more extreme actions to convince them he might not TACO.

Buckle up.
