All gross speculation...but it does force one to ask questions.

Such as...Why Didn't the qanon folks, who accused a Home Decor company of human trafficking, ask questions about the best friend/confidante of epstein when that friend's Sec of Labor ensured epstein got a cush plea deal in FL?
WHY? And why haven't the Epstein files been released?

While I do agree...I am forced to say "¿Por qué no los dos?".

Given the fail rate of pretty much every single cabinet assignment trump hands out, incompetence naturally goes hand in glove with malice in this admin.
as i replied to some other post, trump 2 is giving the lie to the old adage, don’t attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence

it’s mostly malice

There should be laws governing the maximum ratio between top and bottom on any companies pay scale. That would give them some incentive to raise pay

Chicago, you got this.
The group chat pings around school drop-off and dismissal time. “All quiet at [Elementary School X],” one message says, or “smooth sailing at [Middle School Y].” Neighbors are on heightened alert because a federal government helicopter has been doing laps over our communities…
On the occasion of Halloween, @newrepublic.com asked me to write about what’s going on in Chicago and I wanted you all to know what randomized terror feels like. And also that as the federal government fails our kids, everyday Chicagoans are showing the courage of trying to protect them.

Yeah, I'm sure No voters in NYC have Ever been on the receiving end of that kind of white supremacist "dual citizenship=not Actually American" nonsense.

It's not a BS racist trope at all.
Cuomo has gotten so desperate that he's moved from sort of winking at racism to straight up selling it
So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."
