So many people I know in the US are emotionally dysregulated (politically, how could you not be?) and their relationships are paying the price.
It’s tough to watch so many of us take it out on each other, whether with friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, public figures, comment sections.

Saw OCD described as "an inability to handle doubt" and while that doesn't cover all of it (or at least my flavor), that's such a good way of describing a big big part of it.

I don't give a shit about whether "protests" are peaceful or not. Stop framing this as a "protest". There are people who would be in detention centers right now who are not because people showed up to stop it. That's not a protest, it's direct action, and it works. That's all I care about.
