And, you can also change the narrative yourself, by leading the public. Public pressure absolutely moves politicians. Sitting around waiting for others to take this seriously is failing. Making something the story and making the public care about it is the job of a politician.
IMO the argument is that you can make things into big enough deals that it matters. Khanna found Massey and found survivors and made the Epstein Files the gigantic story it should be. Only then did establishment Dems come along. You can, in fact, make things into big hairy deals if you do it right.

Have not seen a single one of the “save the children” zealots who led riots over books about different types of families taking any issue with the plagiarism machine that goads children to suicide and drug use.
Love to see the Minneapolis Hilton refusing service to ICE terrorists, but reminder that most Hilton hotels are franchises & thus independently owned/operated. In SoCal Hilton hotels have been reliably friendly to ICE/DHS as well as large right wing conferences and events. bsky.app/profile/gusd...
ICE is furious because the Hilton cancelled their reservation because of ICE’s immigration enforcement activities.

I really dislike it when people frame children’s books & media entirely in terms of how it will affect their development & adult life. I get that it’s important, but a lot of adults could do to remember that kids need to just exist & enjoy stuff in the moment, without any expectations or weight.
