The sort of people who support ICE and the Trump Administration are fine with this because she’s black, because she’s a woman, because she‘s Somali-American, and because THEY are shitty people with shitty values from a shitty culture.
Nasra Ahmed, 23, was walking through the parking lot of her aunt’s St. Paul apartment complex when she found herself surrounded by 12 agents. Ahmed, born in the USA, says she showed them her I.D. She was forcefully detained and jailed anyway for more than 2 days. www.twincities.com/2026/01/18/s...

She is 22 years old and has a U.S. birth certificate

ICE detained her for -25 days- and now is being forced to wear an ankle monitor by ICE because they question her citizenship status

Also all the Minnesota federal officials should be writing letters to Ellison and Walz asking them to explain why the state's prosecutors are refusing to bring murder cases against perpetrators in their jurisdiction. Same can be asked of Moriarty and Frey.

Pew Research Institute (2023):

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

The political ground is shifting on ICE. Your own Dem rep or senator may not have caught up yet. Now - before the 1/30 funding deadline - is the time to push.
Arizona’s @gallego.senate.gov : "I think ICE needs to be totally torn down… People want immigration enforcement that goes after criminals, not the goon squad that has come from Stephen Miller and Trump."

Truly appreciate @dennycarter.bsky.social’s pushback on the usage of the term “crackdowns.” Applied to everything that authoritarians want to criminalize, including houselessness, it makes the innocent criminal by implication, and implies aggression as the solution. The results are clear, and evil.

Sometimes they just tell us they are weaponizing the criminal justice system to push their political agenda.
Sen. Kevin Cramer: "Maybe the point should be if you're the attorney for Jay Powell and you want to avoid an indictment, how about you go to Jeanine Pirro and say, 'I'll make a deal. I'll step down today if you drop the investigation today.' To me, that would be a win win for everybody."

You draft a separate article for each offense and introduce a new one every damn day!
“The hard part of impeachment is what in the litany of illegal actions [that have] been taken do you actually draft articles on?”

She has got to be kidding me with this. In March of last year I sent her chief of staff a list of 27 impeachable offenses.
Donald Trump has "crossed" line of impeachable offenses, AOC says
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told reporters that Trump has “absolutely” committed impeachable offenses.

ICE are thug scum.
This is 10th-grader Arnoldo Bazan.

A citizen.

Immigration agents grabbed him and put him in a chokehold.

"We're from the United States bro!' he screamed.

Agents took and sold his phone

And when he finally got home hours later, his shirt was ripped, he neck had angry, red welts, and he sobbed.

Before we release Hannibal Lector on bail we need to have a serious conversation about giving him dietary help.
Q: Is it your posture to put restrictions on ICE as a condition for funding DHS?

JEFFRIES: Renee Good should be alive. There was no justification. There are common sense measures that need to put in place so ICE can conduct itself in manner at least consistent w/ every other law enforcement agency

Call me crazy, but I don't think the question of whether or not Bovino belongs in his job depends on whether or not he deletes the tweet he made calling protesters "cannon fodder." Making the tweet (along with many other things he's done) should disqualify him from any law enforcement job ever.
Rep. Lieu: “Greg Bovino last night made a post that essentially called protesters, ‘cannon fodder.’ He needs to delete that post, or he needs to resign…If Greg Bovino and the administration doesn't turn down the rhetoric, it's going to cause more people to get killed.”

Democrats need to realize ICE isn’t just—or even primarily—a mass deportation force.

ICE is also Trump’s most loyal internal security force which will be used to attack regime opponents and try to steal the election. They should defund his authoritarian capabilities.

There’s reports that there will be 1,000 more agents coming to our city. We need that same surge in residents out patrolling our streets. Even if you can’t patrol, come work from a coffee shop on one of cultural corridors so you can be there to show up for our neighbors.

This poll shows that 74% of Democrats support abolishing ICE, with 53% *strongly* supporting getting rid of the agency.

Any elected Democrat who wants ICE to exist is outside the mainstream of their party and the people they purport to represent.

Eliminating ICE as a federal agency?
Support 42%
Oppose 45%

Reducing ICE’s size and funding

One thing I’d like to see is my senators and governor every day on tv at 5pm holding a press conference with video of every documented abuse that ICE is doing. Curate all of the witnessing we’re doing and show it to the press.
Local parents groups asking if adults can ride school buses to help protect children from ICE after a special ed bus got stopped this morning. Like a Dirty Harry movie except the villain in the federal government.

We need systemic change if we're going to lower costs, save our fisheries, and fill our homes with abundance again.

It’s so clear what is happening and how trumped up (pun intended) these allegations are. The reporters who cover the WH and Fed know this. But the headlines give a casual observer the idea that maybe Powell IS corrupt and justice is being done. They’re aiding and abetting the WH plan.
