Trump is attacking our democracy and breaking the systems that keep us safe. Boycott U.S. air travel until Congress fires him.

Take action: groundtheplanes.com
Pinned
-This dropoff in tourism is hurting the airlines.
-Air travel drives 5% of US GDP.
-A *domestic* flying boycott could now change the game. The economy couldn't handle it any more than it could handle Trump's wildest tariffs.

We'll keep saying this as long as it takes for folks to see the potential.
We salute them - and renew our call for Americans to stop buying flights at all until this regime ends
Over 100 priests have been arrested in Minneapolis for protesting ICE.

They gathered to demand airlines to cease contracting deportation flights to DHS.

Most of the people I saw saying a general strike couldn't just be spun up out of nowhere were right. I don't think any other place could pull this off right now. The Twin Cities built a citywide support system on every front in like 6 weeks, they are doing the ridiculous backwards in heels.
The prevailing consensus over the last year was that anyone calling for a general strike was ridiculous and ignorant and it would never work here, and maybe that’s true nationally, I dunno, but I bet those people wouldn’t have seen tomorrow in MN coming either
National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.

ICE relies on companies to help carry out its thuggery — we need to go after these private sector collaborators

Here are our suggestions for corporate targets and campaign tactics

Want to Stop ICE? Go After Its Corporate Collaborators
ICE can’t function without help from the private sector. So we should force the private sector to stop helping.

There's a reason much of the world now avoids US airports, they are sites of horror
If you are in Terminal E - International - at Hartsfield-Jackson right now, look for a 21-year-old woman who is eight months pregnant and in a state of medical distress. She is being deported by ICE right now, a human rights attorney said, today pleading for emergency assistance for his client.

Kavanaugh stopping whole planes
New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.

Stay grounded in solidarity - an airline boycott will break this regime.

It’s been reported locally, but I’m not sure how much national notice this has gotten. As part of this invasion by shithead goons, they are putting ICE agents in jetbridges and other parts of the airport at Minneapolis-Saint Paul. If you are flying Delta via MSP, you are putting yourself at risk.

To get rid of the mad king you gotta impeach. Really really glad to see that Congress has started to talk about it in advance. Now bring votes to the floor.
Trump just placed a tariff on most of the EU of 10% that will increase to 25% in June unless they agree to sell him Greenland.

This is mad king shit.

It will end his regime if we band together in noncooperation (mass boycotts/strikes that end only when the regime ends)
Trump's decision to mess w/Minnesota will end his regime.

Minnesotans are the US version of Canadians-
tough as nails, smart, educated, used to working together as a community and watching out for each other to survive the brutal winters and as kind and relatable as everyone's favorite uncle.

This is why we've been calling for an air travel boycott
It’s absolute negligence that Delta wouldn’t stand up to this. Just absolute collaborator stuff.

I find it necessary these days to affirm the obvious because the descent into fascism is mostly a continuous, not discrete, process so here it goes:

these are internal checkpoints by secret police for what is routine freedom of movement.

Minnesota remains under siege by ICE, they continue to terrorize communities and carry out acts of brutality against community members. This is what Trump and his Gestapo hope to spread nationwide.

These questions *are* answerable, check our feed for ideas
When and where and how does all of this terror stop? And does it stop?

Sorry to pose rhetorical, unanswerable questions in your mentions but I’m at such a loss.

STAY SAFE"

Thank you @mn50501.bsky.social -

We again ask ALL Americans to boycott air travel in solidarity and demand an end to the regime: groundtheplanes.com

Yes. And let’s focus as much of this anger as possible on consequences in the here and now. 2029 feels like an eternity away. We need basically everyone with an audience of 10K+ to hammer Impeach, Remove, Prosecute day and night.
I want these fuckers prosecuted. I will not vote for a candidate who shies away from this.
A teenage boy was walking home in Minneapolis yesterday when four masked men jumped out of a van & questioned him - with no parent or guardian present.

He was bundled into the van & taken away.

Bystanders heard the boy say: “Can I just go home?”

I don’t know how America comes back from all this.
