Trump is attacking our democracy and breaking the systems that keep us safe. Boycott U.S. air travel until Congress fires him.

Take action: groundtheplanes.com
Pinned
-This dropoff in tourism is hurting the airlines.
-Air travel drives 5% of US GDP.
-A *domestic* flying boycott could now change the game. The economy couldn't handle it any more than it could handle Trump's wildest tariffs.

We'll keep saying this as long as it takes for folks to see the potential.

Lots going on but from outside it seems that at least part of the calculus was that flight disruption for middle class and up travelers matters more than life disruption for untold numbers who’ll be deprived of health care.

According to Jeffrey Epstein himself, Trump spent hours at his house with an underage girl—and knew about Epstein’s trafficking of young girls.

I don’t know, seems impeachable.

@congressmanraja.bsky.social breaking news on MSNBC that there are MORE documents forthcoming from Epstein’s estate, and that the estate has been fully forthcoming with all requests from House Oversight.

THIS ISN’T GOING AWAY.

Boycott until the regime ends—that‘s what will guarantee safety

Sure, why not call air traffic controllers shitty people as you make their jobs a living hell? What could go wrong?

Anyway. Glad our “Boycott air travel till Trump is gone” thing is starting to click with people

Listen to this BS from Duffy. (Whose aviation-world experience = zero.)

I know 1000 times as many controllers as he's ever met. OK, maybe only 100 times as many.

This is offensive beyond belief.

Everyone please drive or train it, just don't travel by air. We need millions to boycott to get some power back.

Agreed. People should boycott airlines during the holidays.

I think it would be a small sacrifice if everyone in the country would stay off of flights this holiday season and either stay home or drive to where you are going, if you can. Let's not hand them a lucrative end to their business cycle after this.

The airlines and ATC is what stopped the last Felon’s/GOP shutdown. Not this time. Airlines have aligned themselves with this incompetent administration. I like it when they show me directly who to boycott

Oh’p. So there it is. The real story.

I hope they (don’t) enjoy their blood money.

Also, as many in the comments are saying: it’s up to us to boycott the airlines now.
November 10, 2025 at 2:14 PM
If it’s inconvenience they respond to, it’s inconvenience we should give them.

We can boycott the airline industry that helped screw us over, force route closures (as happened when tons of Canadians stopped flying here)…and force political change.

Or are we too attached to convenience ourselves?
I bet these fucks were mildly inconvenienced at an airport and are now like, welp, time to kill a bunch of people via healthcare withholding so I can hop back on my charter!
November 11, 2025 at 12:56 AM
We’d support this 100% but it raises a related question—

Why don’t we boycott air travel en masse, until these workers are paid and the Exploiter-in-Chief leaves power?
Why don't all air traffic controllers just walk off the job en masse, demanding better pay and working conditions?

There will never be a better time to do it, since they're not getting paid anyway.

But we don’t have to give the airlines our money…

Boycotts get the goods
I bet the airlines lobbied hard. It's all about making sure money flows to the top.
Plausible if airlines lobbied behind the scenes. ATC is crumbling, half of flights are delayed or cancelled, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. 🧐

They didn’t fold, they sold out. They didn‘t back down, they collaborated with fascists. The distinction matters because we need to see the goal now isn‘t “stiffening their spines”—a billion phone calls won’t do that. The goal is creating so many problems for them, they don’t dare sell us out again.

Would love to see some boycotting of the airlines that screwed us over
Would love to see some reporting on how the airline lobby put on the pressure.
November 10, 2025 at 9:41 PM
It's obviously not working for millions of us just to react to the problems a few hundred officials create for us.

We have to create problems for THEM. That's what will force them to do their jobs—or leave power, whichever we demand.

Here's a place to start:

Don't really know what any of this shit means, but it confirms our sense that air travel boycotts/strikes are a crucial lever of power and we should absolutely use them
November 10, 2025 at 3:40 PM
So we boycott air travel and make them face delays until they throw Trump under the bus*

*impeach
The second that east coast dem leaders have to personally face airline delays they’re ready to throw peoples healthcare under the bus

-We know boycotts work
-We know the airline industry just screwed us over
-Boycott the airlines
-Until we get new leadership

We chatter about this a lot. Hope everyone is now seeing why an airline boycott could force Congress's hand on things like impeachment
not enough chatter about how frequently members fly and how attacking airport capacity directly affects them in a way that cutting SNAP does not
