I’m feeling a teenie bit of hope tonight so I’m going to post about baseball.

And in this post about baseball… I’m just going to share some photos of the Romo brothers (Vicente and Enrique). I love these guys. They look like an indie tag team wrestling duo. They also won a shitload of games.

MLB playoff broadcasts do some awful shit these days, but in 1980 they zoomed in on the players' wives after every pitch and it's extremely awkward.

We're 2/3s of the way through game five of the 1980 World Series now and I'm convinced this is the greatest postseason that no one talks about.

MORMONS: look its very clear that God and his established authority on the earth, do not have the power to actually influence sporting events. Thats why BYU doesn't win anything important. That would be way too hard

POPE (roller skating backwards while eating a hot dog) not that hard

Glancing at my timeline and apparently a bunch of Chiefs fans are happy about the Broncos moving on and I never thought I'd see the day.

The finishing touch should be getting lit up like a pinball machine while failing to make it out of the second inning.

Or they can trade Shaw for a box of baseballs that will be more likely to stay inside Wrigley when it matters.
The Cubs now can move Matt Shaw to second base and trade Nico Hoerner or simply make Shaw a super utility player

I wonder if they passed a rule about not allowing players to change shoes in the middle of a game. Every time Joe Morgan goes to first, he calls time and takes off his cleats because of the turf. Another thing I'd never seen before.

I've got to come out and say that I'm a Howard Cosell fan. I'm sure it was easy to get sick of his shit if you were hearing it every week, but in limited doses several decades later, he's wonderful.
