Thanks to Tiny Desk Concert, I found out today that the drummer for Goo Goo Dolls looks vaguely like Jeff Garlin.

Saw Dog Day Afternoon was randomly on TCM and I'm mesmerized. Has there ever been a more anti cop pro trans movie? Sidney Lumet was the best.

somebody is legally obligated to respond with this and I think it's my turn

I remember coming back to the hobby in 2008, so that design was special to me, and it seemed wild that cards that came one per case were so cheap. Wish I'd have bought every Kershaw and Scherzer back then. This was the last card I needed, from August last year.

The setup and the punchline. Perfect, 10/10, no notes. lol, lmao.

While I'd rather have Shōta, I'll accept Steve Winwood instead.

That's correct, you know your mouses. I have a master 3 for my other computer and it's been great, so I thought I might as well get the newest one now.

In incredibly mundane news, I bought a new mouse for my work computer. Old one was six years old and shorting out somehow. A consistent mousing experience from this fancy new peripheral will be the thing that fixes me.

Tonight's movie is His Girl Friday (1940) directed by Howard Hawks. Haven't seen this since February 2008.

Up in Port Townsend, WA to see @erikfallsdown.bsky.social in Misery. Kind of sad we missed out on the Whale Guarantee, though.

Seeing a 12 foot skeleton with glowing eyes inside my home with 8 feet ceilings would be the first good use of this technology.

@nightowlcardz.bsky.social poster from the Billy Strings show tonight. Wish the artist would have gone all-in and used the correct font up top. The hat is great, though.

The 2002 USC game popped up in my YouTube feed tonight. TBS night game, Erin Andrews, Terence Newman, Darren Sproles, Carson Palmer, Troy Polamalu. Can't describe how loud it was. I'm the left half of the Powercat here. youtu.be/UntCuW581s4?...

To the wildly unkempt watchlist it goes

Tonight's movie is Flow (2024) directed by Gints Zilbalodis

I remember enjoying it but it's been too long for me to remember much about it, honestly.

This is my pick. One of those albums I've listened to dozens of times and that never gets old. Eurotrash Girl, despite being one of those annoying 90s "hidden tracks" is the highlight.

Early television was wild.

A fun graphic.

Tonight's film is Traffic (2000) directed by Steven Soderbergh. I don't have this one logged, meaning we haven't seen it, or at least haven't since I started the spreadsheet in 2005. #filmsky #moviesky
