I will never get tired of Red Dead Redemption (the original). There’s no GTA version that beats it. Period. Don’t @ me (I did love San Andreas).
What blows my mind is how hard it is to learn the physics of throwing horseshoes but it only takes three seconds to fully dress a grizzly bear.

Matt Gaetz is so jealous of that five head that he wishes he could wear 80s bangs.
Also, why is she dressed like a 60s Quaker?
Kim Davis is so angry that the Supreme Court failed to uphold her deeply held religious belief that "marriage is sacred," she's threatening to get three MORE divorces.

Three days ago it was 67, I had the ceiling fan on in my third floor apartment, patio door open.
It’s 25 right now. Some light snow on the ground left from last night.
The ONLY thing about this? How comfy I will be in bed tonight.
And yes, I’m that person that still turns my fan on for white noise.

Chuck Schumer remains a complete turd.
Chuck Schumer remains a complete sentence.

I’d say goodnight & good luck but we all know that tomorrow will be another 3 or 4 updates on our phones about back & forth on SNAP, let alone whatever else he opens his dumb mouth about, or meeting he falls asleep at. It’s an endless line of bullshit & bravado from the world’s most fragile ego.

Difference is that as many “bad” men have sat behind the Resolute desk it’s the first time we put an actual mental/emotional toddler behind it. Maybe we’ve all been distracted by the “bling” he put on the walls to make it look like the shittiest country club buffet anyone has ever thrown up at.

I volunteered for you in Des Moines. Thought you were different, Cory Booker.
Used to be proud of this video you sent me after I encouraged my sister and brother in law to go to one of your events in another part of the state.
I was wrong.
You are just as it always was.
You wear your vote tonight.

Cory Booker, Jesus H Christ. Just another pretty face.
You know what to do. Let them know what you think of their failure to lead.

Nights like this it’s hard to go to sleep. Doesn’t feel like we should find respite from being not just pissed off and turned off but disgusted and taking action.
Nights like this seem to be a lot more frequent.

What’s to stop it but US?

“Us” is made of individuals.

Choose your own “adventure.”
You know what to do. Let them know what you think of their failure to lead.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

Isn’t he voting no because he wants it to be more draconian though?

Single father here. My job was shipped overseas three weeks ago. I (along with hundreds of others in the same department at a massive US based food distribution company) got the news in March.
Still waiting on my severance check, along with my son.
I have ZERO representation tonight. None.
i hope all those people who got laid off appreciate the sacrifice made here today

Rand Effing Paul. RAND PAUL, has more sense than Dick Durbin.
Let that marinate.
We are all SOOOOO past partisan lines.
You either get it or you don’t. You wear the red hat or you don’t.
It’s quite literally THAT evident.
There are no good people on both sides, ahem.
NEW: It appears Senate Dems have enough votes for cloture with Jacky Rosen flipping to a yes vote. Rand Paul voted no. Kaine, Rosen, Fetterman, Shaheen, Hassen, King, Durbin, Cortez-Masto are the dems yes votes.

reminder to any ambitious Dems waiting in the wings: announcing a primary challenge right now to a squishy Democrat who’s up in 2026, whether they voted tonight to shine Trump’s shoes or not, will almost instantaneously be awash in cash. fortune—and a primary challenge—favors the bold.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
