“Miss, do you agree with the sign?”

“Absolutely not. My great niece was 4 months pregnant and her fetus had no skull. And because of men involving themselves in women’s bodies she was forced to deliver the fetus… there’s a reason God created medicine.”🔥

You can’t say criminals don’t deserve due process when due process is the thing that decides if they're criminals. Otherwise you're just kidnapping people you don't like.

UNDERWORLD: JOURNEYS TO THE DEPTHS OF THE OCEAN, by Susan Casey, offered an amazing look at the people exploring the deepest regions of the ocean, and why. She also addresses the dangers of climate change and deep sea mining. Fascinating! #LibFaves2024

I loved THE SPELLSHOP by Sarah Beth Durst. The setting, the characters, the story....all of it was wonderful, and provided some much-needed escapism. #LIBFAVES2024

Assuming that there will be no rule of law, no checks or constraints of any kind, is a form of complying in advance.

Asserting that there _ought_ to be such things is a form of demanding them, and forcing their elimination to be seen as a rupture.
