My son woke up in agonizing pain on Tuesday. I rushed him to the ER, and they took great care of him. Within three hours he was out of surgery for testicular torsion and is recovering really well!

Done! I can’t wait to read it.

I took my dog to the vet when my kids were toddlers. The vet handed my dog a treat and I said “What do we say?” In that sing-songy voice. To the dog. The vet looked…puzzled. Perhaps concerned.

This sounds cheesy, but I’m a public librarian near DC. I know that people who are as scared as me are coming to my library to find some normalcy and comfort. I’m trying give it to them - along with books by diverse authors, and books about democracy and that are silly - because we all need that.
