Cybersmith in Harvard Square was the most entertaining and bizarre 90's shit. Trying to describe it makes you sound like a crazy person - a room full of chonky computers with webcams where you where you could take low res pics with your friends and then apply a bunch of filters/backgrounds... 1/2
What brick and mortars do you guys miss?

I know you've heard that a federal judge ordered the release of 5 year old Liam Conejo Arias and his father, and that they're now home.

But did you look at the judge's order?

It's less than 2.5 pages and well worth a minute. "Jesus wept."

Keep listening to the music you enjoy even if people are snarky about it, eventually everyone else will come around and act like they were chill with it the entire time (specifically thinking of Paramore and Fleetwood Mac but there's more I'm sure)

In like 2006, Stace and I got kicked off a red line train at Harvard because the station was on fire. We were still new to the city and only sort of knew where we were going, but apparently looked like locals because a random British lady came up to us and asked how to walk to the next station.

Calls for civility are often weaponized by abusers, by bigots, by those who would oppress you. If it is considered impolite to speak out against dishonor, then it is time for a true warrior to be rude.

Does anyone else feel like they're losing it lately? Like I have to keep going to work and doing laundry and making small talk while the world descends into violence and chaos and it's making me feel crazy

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

The Maduro kidnapping, the demolition of the East Wing, the attempted renaming of the Kennedy Center and the Department of Defense, the deportation of graduate students, these are all the same story. Trump has completely rejected the rule of law. The only remedy is impeachment.
you think this is a one-off? don’t be deluded. we are firmly in the zone of lawlessness & impunity. repression at home and aggression abroad. and a sleeping congress.

Sudden crazy rainstorm, ran across my apartment to close a window, and smashed my little toe full force into a very full metal toolbox. Half my foot was black and blue for weeks and I couldn't wear anything but sandals for like 3 months.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.
