I mostly use my phone with VLC to play music, it works pretty well! Having said that, I did pick up a new-to-me Creative ZEN from ebay to replace my previous one that died, so I could have an option that isn't connected to the internet hell box

I'm also militantly pro physical media obviously, but downloading mp3s is also chill if they're free of DRM and you can back them up. Sometimes I think iTunes made everyone forget this was an option.

I'm glad to see this - I've thought about whether I would have used AI in college if it had been an option, and I can't say with certainty that I wouldn't. 1/2
