Took 35 years but somebody finally found the true ending
Using a combination of glitches in Super Mario World, Yoshi can be taken into the final battle, where he can eat Peach upon Bowser's defeat. With Peach gone, the ending will not play, and Mario and Yoshi will simply stare at each other forever.

“So a person moves through a forest on this page.”

Okay, cool, Past Me. Good idea. But uh…I am shit at drawing trees and foliage so this is a fun headache.

I think the internet is great, but there's no denying what we've done with it has completely melted the brains of a non-zero amount of people.

To be clear, these weren’t ticket sales because Netflix set up the contracts of the actors so they wouldn’t have to pay them for theater screenings. We can tiptoe around the wording however you want, but this was the studio continuing to profit off a bunch of former child stars with predatory terms.

The current big drama in the increasingly stupid western comic book world: DC released cult classic title Warlord on a (more expensive) paperstock that matches original newsprint, giving a more accurate coloring. Collectors are review bombing in outrage because they think glossy = more expensive.

I think a lot about what Tolkien said about the creation of Faramir, a character that suddenly showed up unplanned in the story as he was writing and wouldn’t shut up (to the point he almost had to be fully moved to the appendices).

It’s nice to know how normal this experience of writing is.

Constantly drawing the same character’s face on an increasing large canvas just to get lines down when I can’t get myself drawing actual comic pages lately.

Slow going for the latter but I’m drawing constantly and I’ll have a file with dozens of sketches of one character at least.

The problem with having the realization of how to connect to parallel plot threads is then you have to go back and edit both to make it all come together properly.

The Hogfather miniseries is a pretty decent adaptation of the book and is left out of "good Christmas movie" conversations far too often. I do not care if it's not technically a movie. Die Hard opened the floodgates, you all get to deal.

Struggling a bit with art tonight but my brain gave me a solution to a story problem I was uncertain about down the line. So time to shift to writer-me and get some of this down.

I always forget how much DS9 turns a corner with Season 4. I've watched it so many times and love those first three seasons, but 4 hits and it's just banger after banger in wild ways.

The Visitor is the SECOND episode after the 2 part premier! Tony Todd!

The previous season was rough, but My Hero Academia absolutely stuck the landing in the end.

And uh...is that a first for a long running shonen show?
