Look I get that this is exclusively a me problem but I’m watching an old episode of Hustle and they keep saying they’re pulling The Wire but they’re not doing the wire part of it? Like they’re doing every piece of it except the wire?

one of my favourite post-production fixes in Artemis Fowl is the whole bit with a safe behind a portrait where they added one insert of Colin Farrell's face then cropped the frame for any other shots so you couldn't see it was fully a portrait of a different guy when they shot it.

I know Holes only got some drive-by praise in the last episode of Going Rogue but that was purely for time because I could (and originally did) say so much more about Holes.

I’ve been working on the new season of Going Rogue for a while and there’s one recurring phrase from it that @gharlesochady.bsky.social and I use on a weekly basis and I can’t wait for y’all to be stuck with it too.

By limiting itself to the writing and recording of 'Nebraska', 'Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere' fails to capture what made that album such a radical departure. The Springsteen of legend, the all-American rock star, is implied but never seen.
Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere a trip through the tropes
Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere limits itself to one crucial sliver of the Boss’s life to escape the clichés, but it’s a biopic through and through.

Just historically given how much people wilfully misunderstood Born in the U.S.A. I do not think they should have gotten access to Electric Nebraska. They’d be playing Johnny 99 at the sock hop.

Casino Royale really glosses over the bit where Bond kills a warlord and then pins it on some guy. I don’t think I’d ever shut up about the guy who got done for murdering a warlord but insisted he didn’t do it.
