The UK sold off its trains, its council houses, its water and so much else - and now all these things are fucked. It stopped investing in its people, and now its productivity, public health and social fabric are fucked. And it fucked itself with Brexit. Now its next PM may be Nigel Farage.

The 2,850 council homes built in England last year will be wiped out 6 times over by the 18,500 council homes sold off through right to buy. 41% of these homes end up as private rentals, handing huge sums to landlords at the expense of the rest of us.

The UK Government are going for rehashed New Labour policies that weren't any good the first time round. They may as well get Wes Streeting to release a cover version of Never Ever by All Saints.
