As this winter is likely to be one of the most challenging on record for our health service - we must ensure that the weight of years of Conservative neglect does not fall on patients' shoulders.

That's why we @libdems.org.uk are is calling for a £1.5bn ring-fenced fund to ‘winterproof’ our NHS.
Delays waste 130,000 hours of ambulance time in a fortnight
Wait times are one third longer than last winter as NHS faces ‘quad-demic’ of flu, Covid, norovirus and RSV

I wonder why!

If #UKgovernment keeps TAKING money from '#people, pretending ALSO #UniversalCredit doesn't exist + become Gestapo 3rd degree... they will not have money to spend, money does not move - economy does not too!
I am no expert, but even I get that!

Boris Johnson, Dominic Cummings, Matt Hancock and Michael Gove ran the Covid PPE lanes, while Rishi Sunak rubber stamped every payment.

Given the £14.9bn in fraud they should all be in jail.

Keir Starmer's government seems to be embracing the Policy Exchange thinktank - which was the most influential promoter of Islamophobic policies during the years the Conservatives were in power.

Policy Exchange told the Tories that Muslims were a threat. Will it work on Labour?
The right-wing thinktank has played a crucial role in shaping narratives about Islam and extremism in Britain since 2005

The US based Christo-Fascist Heritage Foundation already own the UK Conservative Party. Have done for years. I’ve come to the conclusion democracy is an illusion. See Keir Starmer’s Labour Government. Nothing actually changes. And it never will while The Church and Big Business call the shots.

Other MPs have been called to task for doing so, so why haven’t Reform MPs❓

To truly empower Britain would require establishment power and wealth losing power. There is absolutely no sign that starmer is prepared to do this? The missions seem gimmicky- a government straining to signal they are purposeful.
Really good from @peterhyman.bsky.social. When Starmer leant into this in response to a question during the Battle for No.10 event in Grimsby it was one of his strongest moments in the campaign - time to take it into government.

How governments whitewash voters. Before Brexit 2016 immigration was split in 2, eu and world (non-eu). Govt and press only wanted to talk about EU migrants even though it was around 50-50 (about 300,000 each).
Now Sunak introduced illegal immigration which is all they wanted to talk about not world

These positions need to be confronted, not embraced. Loudly and unequivocally.
Agreed hence the reason why we need to understand what the supporters of the opposition wants, if we don’t Labour stands to loose the next election. It’s not just about what the Labour supporters want, it’s about the entire country. It has to work for everyone not just one section of society
