It ironically makes me feel absolutely insane having to explain to cis people that expecting trans people - for whom the experience of an incorrectly gendered puberty is inherently traumatizing - to be perfect pictures of mental health in order to get transition care is transphobic.
Still the wildest take whenever I see someone talk about silence of the lambs of just "see it wasn't transphobic because a doctor refused to treat him for gender dysphoria and therefore, not trans" and not even slightly register how insanely fucking bigoted that is

Work is finally starting back up after all this snow, but I'm out a pretty significant chunk of wages with only a limited amount of time left to save for the slow times if I can't secure better employment.
I've been talking about this for a while, but I'm in an astronomical amount of debt on low income and it's actively preventing me from getting to a safe area for LGBTQIA+ people or afford healthcare. Dealing with some of it will really help me to take care of the rest of my problems. #transcrowdfund
