He/Him. Horror propagandist & football shitposter.
Bought on a whim, turned out to be the best of the Bond games. Captured the social aspect of Bond better than anything else while being infinitely more interesting than the movies. The shooting’s great, the theme’s a banger, the driving is fun, and the locations fantastic. Couldn’t ask for more.

Here’s some comics I recently finished:

GRAVENEYE: lived up to four years worth of hype. Gorgeous & fucked up.

JUMPSCARE: horror flavored Spider-Man. Really fun.

ATHANASIA: powerful in part, disjointed in others. Pulls a lot of punches. Like everything else claiming to be ‘disturbing’—it ain’t.

See also FRIDAY THE 13th.

All you need is a dilapidated set in the woods, decent (don’t even have to be clever) kills, and at the 25 minute mark Jason walks through a wall.

But no, Hollywood keeps trying to make it more than what it is and so nothing gets made.
Yep, studios were broken by internet nitpickers and think normal audiences would not be perfectly happy to see Different Handsome Brit walk in and say “Bond, James Bond” whilst holding onto the delusion that a Kangaroo is a Martini.
this kind of feels like freaking out over a problem that 95% of the audience is not going to have an issue with

Known for his profound and soulful writing, Fyodor Dostoevsky (BOTD, 1821-1881) deeply impacted culture, inspired our Polish hidden gem THROUGH AND THROUGH and was directly adapted by Bresson's UNE FEMME DOUCE and Visconti's LE NOTTI BIANCHE.

I'm so humbled by this reaction. I'm glad that Reef Mind resonates with you. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
Sometimes you meet a book at just the right time, & the ensuing pain is what you needed all along to midwife a catharsis. I read @hazelzorn.bsky.social's Reef Mind at work today @weirdpvd.bsky.social, & it felt a bit like cauterizing a wound. Here's the blurb we've got up for it:

2 volumes down. 14 to go.
1,085 pages read, 6,173 remaining.
‘Bout a 5th into volume 3.

The section on Pseudo-Dionysius in volume 2 should be considered definitive and included in all editions of P-DtA.

This is half of my ideal cast for… anything.

An unforgivable amount of tv shows commit the mortal sin of not having CCH Pounder in the cast.
Holy shit, check out the top line cast for the new season of The Terror

The only way this day gets better is if Clive Barker releases a new book that unleashes a hell orgy by merely being opened.
Brendan Fraser, who led the trio of movies made between 1999 and 2008, and Rachel Weisz, who starred in the first two, are in talks to star in a new #Mummy sequel. Radio Silence is set to direct.
