the two types of vehicle are cars and trucks, with every vehicle being a subclass of one of those two. a jeep is a truck. a motorcycle is obviously a car. a boat is a truck. an airplane is a car and a helicopter is a truck. trucks are cars, interestingly enough, and cars are a specific type of chair

SILENT HILL continues its journey toward synthesizing ‘90s transgressive horror, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Soulsborne. (Maybe with some Siren?)

Not sure what I think of TOWNFALL, but I trust Annapurna and (even moreso) the UNTOLD STORIES & OBSERVATION folks.

This is what really surprised me when I finally played Haunting Ground, et al. The gameplay is meaty as hell while the Amnesia clones had… nothing outside of janky AI pathing. Which is a fine start, but ya gotta grow from there. Hell, look at HG’s chonky alchemy mini game, or CT’s 500 endings.
What's funny is Amnesia's mechanics weren't original to it. Clocktower did this back in the 90s, but Clocktower had a mechanic that Amnesia and Outlast lacked, the ability to make the stalker enemies fuck off for a while. Hidden puzzles and items that change the dynamic of the encounter.

i think a key part of woke 2 needs to be relentlessly mocking TPUSA types for their repeated insistence that they need a safe space where nobody is allowed to criticize their horrible, horrible attempts at music, movies, and literature

It's not a big mystery: he had money and access to more men with money. And he could give scientists who would otherwise not be able to afford it the trappings of wealth: private jet rides, expensive vacations, access, with impunity, to young girls.
From 2019: Jeffrey Epstein liked to describe himself as a “science philanthropist,” and academics liked to take his money.

As more of Epstein’s enablers are uncovered, it’s worth asking why it was so easy for him to infiltrate science in the first place.

Jeffrey Epstein infiltrated science because it was ready to accommodate him

MAIL ORDER MURDER: THE STORY OF W.A.V.E. PRODUCTIONS

I seen a lot of documentaries, some of them even with good sound, but this one wierded me out, compelled me, made me laugh, and horrified me (AN UNSIMULATED HANGING?!) in equal parts. Might be my favorite horror doc ever. Pure New Jersey.
