It’s funny that Harvard has been a consistent target for reactionary campaigns, and not one has been dedicated to ousting Larry Summers, an openly political figure who was friends with Jeffrey Epstein; meanwhile, it’s a fine-toothed comb for *checks notes* Black women.

This is an incredible marathon of posting on Bluesky from a City of Vancouver Councillor. He’s documenting an unofficial filibuster at City Hall as over 600 people have signed up to speak at the budget hearing. Over 200 have said their piece so far. Follow along.

wait, are you telling me the NYTimes possessed news-worthy evidence that it suppressed in favor of a different narrative that was more preferable to their editors?!? 😲 /s 🧵
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

You get to feed hungry kids AND you get to torment Greg! It's absolutely win/win! If you have some cash to spare, donate it now. There's tons of matching money at hand, so even a small donation will go a long way. AND, Greg has a 501(c)(3) for it, so if your employer matches donations, even more!

🏳️‍⚧️ It's Trans Awareness Week (Nov 13 to 19)! 🏳️‍⚧️

If you're a cis person who has the financial ability and/or in position of power, I recommend you to exercise your privileges and give direct support to trans people and/or hire trans people because awareness isn't enough. Thanks! 😊✨

So, you know, maybe get more comfortable with disability as something that isn’t a moral failure and that should be accommodated. The access you save may well be your own.

Our misery is a profit center—you might think you’re “healthy” enough to escape the dynamic but you won’t be for long (this is just a fact). So it might be a good time to reverse ableist behaviors.

Because this is going to drag all healthcare services in the US further downward, while upping costs.

As Imani Barberin said on another site: “Your broken bodies are profit centers.”

“The disabled people you let die to ‘return to normal’—it was for nothing. Because at the end of the day, [Democrats] are prepared to treat you the fucking same way.”
They have no healthcare plan. They only have a plan to take away what exists.

Maybe it’s just the Humanities professor in me, but let it be noted that events of today (ahem) have demonstrated the value of being able to assess a large volume of qualitative data and do careful textual analysis with deep attention to context.

I'm open for work! Notably, if it is a project that uplifts marginalized voices, I'm very willing to work within their budget if it means making it possible! For me, I find the most value in contributing to BIPOC, Queer, or Disabled stories.

With few exceptions, pretty much everyone knew these were bad men. They did much of their evil right out in plain sight. And what wasn’t in plain sight was loudly whispered about.

But the endless “benefit of the doubt” that powerful men are freely given allows this kind of thing to keep happening.

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

have been saying this offline for weeks: "You know who isn't in the Epstein files? 1,000,000 trans people." it's absolutely the media and the GOP doing the old magician's trick of making the country attack... us trans folks i guess.
