🚨BREAKING: President Donald Trump said Wednesday that “we shouldn’t even have an election,” as he complained about the political risks his party faces in the 2026 midterms and boasted about his accomplishments. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

Basic Income in Canada is closer than you think
Basic Income isn't a utopian dream. It is a real policy initiative that is working its way through Parliament right now.

Almost hit by a car while waking today (again).

Were they a f'ing b or a Good person? IDK.

Did they share my politics? IDK or care.

Were they strictly following the orders of the stop sign? No.

Has this happened to me before? Yup.

What did I do?
I chose NOT to sh**t them in the face!

“…women spend six to eight of their later years in poorer health, often cycling through unanswered symptoms, inadequate treatments and delayed or missed diagnoses.”

Yes, we do.
Longevity research is based on men's health. Women are diagnosed an avg of 4 years later across diseases & are 50% more likely to have adverse drug reactions. Women live 5 to 7 years longer than men, but far fewer of those years are spent in good health.

If you had a Canadian grandparent, you may be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship — these are new rules as of December 2025.

You might be surprised how many Americans have Canadian roots somewhere:

Don't allow Canadian news organizations to pretend this kind of behaviour is normal or acceptable.
Hi hello, the Toronto Sun's email is torsun.editor@sunmedia.ca in case you'd like to inquire as to how they feel about their Ottawa Bureau Chief making these kinds of statements about innocent women being shot by militarized thugs in the street! Let's make his weekend extra fun :)

@basicincomeaction.org I would predominantly spend it on health/ chronic disease management and education for my family: more activities for my kids, better quality food, gym membership, adjustments to our home to improve health (like removing carpet for asthmatics), PT, OT, psych, massage etc.

Some thought that surviving and (just barely) not requiring hospitalization for my family's first really bad flu since 2020 would make me realize I don't need 😷 etc.

I've been down for 2 weeks, it's triggered chronic illness flares, and did you hear me? First time since 2020!

I'll keep masking!

In the summer of '99, I worked as a field assistant for Doug Morris doing GUD experiments in the badlands of southern Alberta. These bad boys kept me safe banking around rattlers on the slick clay. Now, decades later, still going strong but the terrain has changed a bit. #conspicuousnonconsumption

Put a price on congestion! It's worked amazingly well in other places. The province could:

- make people pay for parking
- pay for bridge use
- encourage alternate modes like biking

Wait, what's that you say...?

Oh.

Cycling like the Dutch would slash the world’s carbon footprint
If everybody cycled like the Dutch, we could offset the UK or Australia’s entire carbon footprint.
