If you haven’t checked out our movie yet, what are you waiting for? We’ve got elder gods. We’ve got necromancy. We’ve got valiant women trying to get their voice back from an evil tyrant. It’s timely!

a bunch of people who work for AI companies and largely paid in vesting stock options are overwhelmed by the magnitude and depth of what they've created. everyone else is a curmudgeon or otherwise a confused hater. truly this is an irreconcilable intellectual dilemma.

Not sure how much of a ‘flex’ this is, but from summer 1993 to around mid 2001 I went to the movies *at least* once a week and saw pretty much every major, most minor, and a bunch of mid releases that came out throughout those years...

Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)
