Personally I love seeing everyone's art - in general, but also bc it's a much-needed break from the news. We can walk and chew gum at the same time. If anyone is scolding you for sharing your art at a time like this please come over here and share it instead, I would love to see it.
Just in case anyone out there feels like they shouldn’t post art - please do. The constant bullshit from the news is difficult but we can’t allow all of that to stop us from making art and sharing it. That’s all I have to say rn - am planning to enjoy the rest of my weekend working on sketches.

Don't wait until you're sitting in their office to find out what they do. I've watched too many writers torpedo great opportunities by not knowing basic info about the exec or company they're meeting. The meeting starts long before you walk through their door - with research.

As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

This case deserves renewed attention. It takes on average 17-21 years for a survivor of CSA to come forward. Maybe others will too? As the article says, "In Maryland, there is no statute of limitation on criminal cases of child sexual abuse."
