there are very very few AI use cases that wouldn't be better as a good series of if/else statements
this is all generative tech! almost all the time, it is better to just do the thing yourself than to try to build a monkey with poor cognition that can occasionally, in perfect conditions, do it for you

I'll say it again -- I'm on my firm's AI committee: every canned demo has had brutal, malpractice-level errors, and every live trial has required more time and care to vet the output than to just do it, like working with an unteachably incompetent associate you'd need to sit down for a Hard Talk.

"you have not played the game unless you've played the game" is one of my more annoying but unshakable opinions
the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

i really liked the moonlighter 2 EA but it does have some pretty big balancing and pacing issues 😭 i one shot the third area before i even saw the first area boss
