The cloak for my #Hornet Rig will be powered by #geometrynodes

Folds, waviness and shape can be tweaked and even animated procedurally!

The actual cloak is finally starting to take form.

I'm experimenting with some procedural generation to give more control over the folds

(And I finally finished most of the game so I can actually start working on this again)

#Blender 5.0 is shaping up to be huge with lots of improvments to the compositor so I've been working on a newer version of my Instant Dither Node!

This version of it is actually a node I proposed for Blender's upcoming Essential Compositor Assets.

More modes yet smaller!

Working on my old Dithering node again, streamlining it for upcoming #Blender 5.0

Especially now that tiling is possible ever since I think 4.5

Experimenting with #Blender's Manifold Boolean and their human base meshes to quickly revive and test out an old character concept I've drawn a year ago.
It started as some drawing practice.

It's so fast and easy to just carve things out, sculpt and repeat.

So here's my current progress on the Hornet rig
Working on optional segmentation, and using SMIRK for the face so it can be freely adjusted

This 3D model will get multiple options for styles

Even though I can't finish this before #Silksong takes over my life I made some nice progress on the eyes.

They are 3D now and using some new SMIRK features I'm working on. So when I release this I will also release the new version of my #geometrynodes tool

Working with large #geometrynodes trees taught me a lot when it comes to organizing your nodes and thoughts.

So here are a few Tips that will hopefully help you wrangle and untangle large node trees

Like selecting by type, coloring and reroutes!
