I think about this so much.

He was so kind. He was soft. He said I love you and cried at gifts.

Now he has stickers in his windows with guns That say “We don’t call the cops here”. And then waltzes into church on Sunday.
Is this why the Utah Republicans are fighting so hard for the unfair maps that break the law?

Hmmmm…

And republicans will still vote for republicans
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

All so that capitalists could bring us to this point that they warned us would happen if communism won.
People do not want to think about the fact that America did to North Korea what Israel is doing to Palestine.

EVs beat petrol cars on lifetime emissions — even on “dirty” grids.
Battery production is carbon-intensive, but EVs quickly repay that debt and end up 21–71% cleaner over 250,000 km.

We can’t wait for perfect grids: electrify transport and clean the grid now.

I’ll be fine. 😭 Hamnet is of the most beautifully devastating movies I’ve seen in years. Deserving of so many awards, but Jessie Buckley will definitely be sweeping Best Actress this year, as she kept my tears flowing throughout the entire second half. Paul Mescal is brilliant as well. #FilmSky

160 years ago today, the 13th Amendment was ratified to end slavery, with one major exception: punishment for a crime.

The legacy of slavery lives on as people behind bars are still coerced into working for mere pennies or nothing at all.

It's long overdue to abolish slavery in all its forms.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Queue the Utah Republican supermajority ignoring the study.

For things they don’t want and the people do, it’s “let’s do a study we’ll only listen to if we are”.

Meanwhile, things the voters don’t want require special sessions to try and pass anyway.
An inependent review of medical evidence on trans youth healthcare found substantial evidence of benefit, and no evidence of harm.

This was one of our top stories this year. Legacy news, who extensively covered a review finding the opposite, ignored this.

Plentiful Data, No Regret: What the Utah Review on Youth Trans Care Found — Assigned
A 1,000-page report by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Utah, which found care safe and effective, stands out from others: It’s both independent and an actual review of the evidence.

I've watched Thunderbolts a half dozen times and I'm queueing it up again.

"Everyone does horrible things."
"Yes, but I've done so so many."

As I struggled with hiding who I was so deeply I didn't even know what what itI was hiding...I did horrible things. So, so many.

And yet, there's redemption

Almost like business and politics are separate things and shouldn’t be conflated, and definitely shouldn’t be handed over to a failed businessman.
Elon Musk:  "You know, I've generally found that when I get involved in politics, it ends up badly."

Interviewer: "Do you think that's true for all businessmen?"

Musk: "Yeah, probably. Yeah. Yeah. Um, yeah."

Hey FBI agent that earned offer of the $800,000 ot. If you are willing to redact him from the Epstein files in order to protect him, you have to realize that your life is over.

There’s no way that you’ll be allowed to live a long life with President Trump knowing you know what you know about him.
