My mom came to my ND (ex)wife and I a bit ago to say "I've been doing some reading, and I think I might be autistic"
She is absolutely right. She was also a psychology professor for like 35 years. She retired before the DSM 5 was released and had long before given herself a false negative diagnosis

One of the common questions anti-Anarchist folk ask is "But how would we motivate people to work?" And putting aside any other considerations on the topic, if living in a functioning society where everyone is taken care of isn't enough of an incentive, then perhaps society in general isn't for you.
For real tho:
You can "not my job" yourself out of society & making the spaces around you kinder, more welcoming, community focused, litter-free - but then you live in an unkind, unwelcoming, dirty space.
Folks are actively choosing a lifetime of misery over a little effort bc it's 'not on them'.

After learning I'm autistic and that it often runs in the family I looked back and realized just how many of my relatives indeed also are and how much it explains the abuse.
Like, obviously being autistic didn't make them abusive, but not knowing and therefore not knowing how to handle it sure did.

I play video games as a large part of emotional regulation needed due to cPTSD, so I'm not really clear on the benefits of setting the planet on fire in order to outsource that.
