Now before you get all worked up about how bad these numbers are, it's important to take a minute and remember that they're also very funny.
Sora 2 apparently cost something like $5 billion to run every year and so far made OpenAI around $1.4 million.

A reminder: this is an Irishman with valid papers speaking about how he's being held in US concentration camps. If you don't have to go to the US, do not go to the US. "GDC" is not "have to go". One denial at the border is going to mark you for life, and that's the best of the bad outcomes.
"A modern-day concentration camp ... People have been killed by the staff here." Irish citizen Seamus Culleton has been in ICE detention since September, despite having a valid work permit and his own business in the US.

This is how I find out that it's not just every GP
There is a small amount who are doing diagnoses. Most are not. At my local clinic which serves a pretty massive area due to living rurally, out of 20 doctors working there - one has taken it on, and only a few appointments a week, it costs a lot.

Allied Security sucks (I used to work for them) so I don't care that they're losing money AND I don't care that WINZ will no longer have doormen who do literally fucking nothing all day but press the button to open the doors.
Ministry of Social Development set to cut security guards
Twenty jobs are set to go at offices in some regional towns - with one guard saying the risk of danger is real and the decision reduces a spare pair of eyes.

In an alarming development, it appears the UK Government covered up a massive spike in trans youth suicides after restrictions.

Then covered it up again when caught.

Now, after fighting for years, the data is public: trans suicide increased 5x in the country.

My web ads are more targeted, like, I keep getting ads for the Stag Door. Do I want to pass through the Horn Gate and be counted among the Know? Of course I do! But in this economy?
Every Super Bowl ad is for the door in the forest. It’s annoying. “You must walk through the door.” Yeah thanks, I know that already. I dream of the door every night

My hottest fantasy fiction take is that when magic is a reliable, mechanical, well-understood field of knowledge and practice.. it is no longer magic, it is technology. Which is fine, but it isn't magic, because magic is enchanting. It has mystery.
