really important thread about ACTUAL freespeech
Staff at NZ universities will now have to deal with govt mandated free speech complaints process designed to facilitate far right agitprop infiltrating campus spaces and threatening our academic freedom under the guise of protecting it.

Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary that I have been using a digital Zettelkasten. As someone with ADHD and a long history of half-used notebooks, I've been surprised with how successful the experiment has been. I've put together some thoughts below on what I learned.

At what point do we publicly accept that NZ is deeply corrupt and the only reason why we don’t have a culture of direct payoffs and bribery (that we cite as the evidence for us not being corrupt) is because it’s not needed? The boys club gets what it wants through people playing their social roles.

Absolutely horror IPCA report on how the Police handled complaints against McSkimming.

A woman, who said she had a sexual relationship with him when she was 21 and he was 40, made complaints about him and instead of taking it seriously they prosecuted her under the HDCA.

The right wing is a kind of attractor in the dynamical system sense - no matter where you start, once you have been captured by the attractor it's only a matter of time till you are circling the pure fash equilibrium point.

Real world malware infections often happen in stages. Each step of the infection chain is responsible for initializing the next. For these challenges, you'll have to analyze your way through more…
