Why didn’t Biden’s DOJ do anything about the combo of coup attempt and pedos? Files were unsealed in early 2024 so plenty of time. It’s beyond Bill Clinton being implicated. I think it’s because it takes down elites of all stripes. What an indictment (pun intended) of so many in the ruling class.

Absolutely streaming is part of the calculation for a platform like Amazon (or Netflix)... but they also tend to not invest much money in marketing for theaters unless there's a real shot at theatrical money. (See Apple and F1). Absent the "suck up to Trump" of it all, there's no way this works

What’s also true is that documentaries don’t make a lot of money, and by that standard, $7 million is a good number. But two things: Most docs cost their studios much, much less than what Amazon paid, and two, as Melania herself has said, this really isn’t a doc. It’s a MAGA puff piece on film.

What’s true is that, yes, it exceeded tracking—something a number of movies have done recently, and offer in a much bigger way. Tracking isn’t as reliable as it used to be, and even then, “beating tracking” doesn’t equal “makes money.”
