All around nerd. I love photography, technology, cars, charismatic animals, memes, and running sports. Halloween countdown appreciator. Possibly three raccoons in a trench coat. This is a strictly personal account.

Yes I adapt terrible vintage triplet lenses to an expensive mirrorless camera just so I can feel something

Digital perfection is overrated
For reasons unknown, Greaserama moved to a new location at a park next to the Missouri River last year. The light was flat and disgusting, so I switched to in-camera monochrome for most of this show.

the terracotta warriors are literally painted, by the way, it's why most of them remain in the pits - they lost their color when exposed, and Chinese archaeologists and other scientists have been trying to figure out a way to excavate the rest while keeping the paint intact
Just realized that Emperor Qin Shi Huang's "Terracotta Army" of clay soldiers he kept in a vault in like 200 BC make him the first Warhammer Guy. he got some disposable income and started painting minis. totally get it

Accidentally saw a 1-star review of Guillotine from someone who hated it that basically said, "It was just a bunch of billionaires being gruesomely tortured to death for their crimes," and... did a billionaire write this review?

This is the way I described it to my 94 yo dad yesterday. He was trying to make sense of it from a resource perspective and I was like "His ratings suck, he's losing in courts, and he wants to look strong on TV."
I don't see what's hard about telling Americans the truth: The aged lying self-obsessed president who tariffed your stuff while blocking the Epstein Files & taking multiple cognitive tests just started a war you didn't ask for, for no coherent reason other than he thinks it makes him look good on TV
