Day #157: Star Wars (1977)
A black metal lunchbox with a red handle. On it is an illustration of the scene in Star Wars: Episode IV where Luke and Obi-Wan ride into Mos Eisley with C3PO and R2D2 in the back and are confronted by storm troopers. You know, the one where Obi-Wan waves his hand and says, "these aren't the droids you're looking for..." and does that Jedi mind trick? Oh man, so cool, such a great scene. Ahh honestly makes me wanna go back and re-watch the original trilogy. I wish I still had that VHS copies from when I was a kid. I was so psyched for the special editions that came out in 1997, especially RotJ, I called every Blockbuster in Rochester but none of them had it! My copy was actually a version taped off HBO by my aunt who mailed it to me, but there were several moments edited out so I didn't see the whole, uncut version until like 1998 or so, but it was totally worth it. So good, and I don't care what anyone says, that whole Battle on Endor was so sick, Jedi rules. Ok also there is a blue plastic thermos next to it with the droids on it
