I really think our species’ entire future hinges on whether these mass murderers are allowed to rejoin society and prosper or are rejected, ostracized, and brought to justice. Gaza isn’t in a vacuum. What we allow, or punish, there will bleed through to stain the entire world.

In theory, it wouldn't mean subsuming the causes you care about.
In practice, everyone talking about a "big tent" is always doing it to excuse the fact that marginalized people (at the present moment trans folks and immigrants) are getting thrown under the bus

PS: I’m probably just explaining something 99.9% of you understand but those few intellectually dishonest are making: Recognizing a big tent opposition doesn’t mean subsuming the causes you care about. This is not anti-fascism at the expense of X, Y, and Z. It’s your cause AND the big tent.
