CATS was the last movie I saw in theaters before the pandemic. It was packed, and everyone there -- whether they were a fan of the musical, a random person who wandered in, or people like me who knew it was gonna suck -- all got on the same page about 10 minutes in. Raucous laughter throughout

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

are we meant to not like Running Man? I thought it was fun and silly, a good solid crazed dystopia with messaging that hits you over the head a bit. Felt a bit like Gamer but even less subtle about it
