Trump will brook no heirs. She's obviously running.
President Trump says that MAGA-aligned Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, has “lost her way” with her criticism of the administration’s focus on foreign policy.
Trump responds to criticism from Marjorie Taylor Greene: 'She's lost her way'
Greene, a longtime Trump ally, has been increasingly critical of her party and the Trump administration in recent months.

I appreciate the rise in volume of this kind of reporting, but it feels like we've been way too slow on the pickup. We were talking about how bad sports betting was getting 15 years ago, in the immediate years following the 08 crisis and the Obama austerity
“The consequences extend beyond lost money. Hazardous gambling is correlated with increased rates of anxiety and depression, and young men who engage in it are more likely to slide into a full-blown gambling addiction. Boys who frequently gamble miss more classes, perform worse in school”
The rise of sports betting is a growing public health crisis
Sports betting is more addictive than ever, and millions of young Americans are paying the price.

A reminder that according to Fetterman's own former staffers, Fetterman had a meeting with J-Street president Jeremy Ben Ami in which he told Ben Ami that he believes Arabs are like a "carton of sour milk" and that we should get back to killing.

"Kill them all" Fetterman is reported as having said.

This is wild: Trump’s ICE detained a UK journalist hours after he urged US leaders to be “America First” & not “Israel First.”

DHS tweeted he supported terrorism, but his only charge was a visa overstay.

As in: Trump revoked a journalist's visa, so agents could arrest him for overstaying his visa.
BREAKING: British Muslim Journalist to Be Freed From ICE Detention
Sami Hamdi was detained after Islamophobic influencers called for him to be deported. Turns out the Trump admin revoked his visa, and then arrested him for overstaying his visa.

Prem's on it.
MoveOn, Indivisible, Our Revolution, and 6 Democrats have called on Chuck Schumer to step aside as leader.

So we asked all 40 Democratic senators who didn’t cave to Republicans if they still think Schumer is the right leader.

Here's what they said.

Furious Liberals Call for Schumer to Step Aside, Senate Dems Mostly Quiet
After their shutdown surrender, liberal lawmakers are begging their base to unite behind them anyway – as Trumpland celebrates that their opposition is a bunch of 'p*ssies.'

Japanese women photographers –– like their counterparts around the world –– share a long tradition of being ignored. A recent anthology and several exhibitions are trying to change that. 👉 www.japantimes.co.jp/culture/2025...
What we see when Japanese women photographers shoot back
Women in photography have been less visible than their male counterparts. An anthology of 25 photographers and three exhibitions this autumn are turning the tides.

I also wish people would spell out the alternative proposal here.

"We should have kept tariffs and capital restrictions on China skyhigh in the hopes it never became a competitive industrial producer, trapping hundreds of millions in subsistance poverty and raising the cost of everything."
This is also said about Europe's approach to China and I simply don't believe this is true. I was at conferences with senior US folk in the early 2010s and none thought China would become more democratic or liberal.

We thought we could compete.
