Exactly. It’s like actively learning to gaslight yourself. I’ve just had to channel my towering rage into hating on mundane things like toothpaste and toilet paper enshittification. And I’ve had to take up hand crafts that mean at least I’m productive with my ruminations.

Some of us have the ability to disassociate mentally because of past trauma. I don’t need to learn this as a skill. All of us are living in deep cognitive dissonance just to survive ATM.
