Gamers: We want shorter games with worse graphics and faster dev times

Also Gamers: "I'll wait until it's on a steam sale, game devs are greedy"

Also Also gamers: "How can I obsess over sales numbers and player counts every day to validate my interests"
Gamers: I hate micro transactions, they shouldn't exist.

Also gamers: every single game should get regular updates and new content for years after release, without me having to pay for it.

Personally I don't like the predatory microtransactions, but I think extra money for extra content is fine.

We're gonna need a truth and reconciliation commission and Nuremberg style trials to reckon with all of this evil, and any Dem candidate for office who shies away from a full reckoning in the name of "moving forward as a nation" can get well and truly fucked

When the Conservative Party in Korea declared martial law, the Korean Democrats knew if they didn’t send them to hell there would be no opposition afterwards. And look at them. They’re taking the ex conservative president and ensuring he never breathes free ever again.

A May 2025 presentation by its (Meta's) safety staff estimated that the company’s platforms were involved in a third of all successful scams in the U.S. (Think about who these scams target - the sick, homebound elderly)
The documents further note that users who click on scam ads are likely to see more of them because of Meta’s ad-personalization system, which tries to deliver ads based on a user’s interests.
Quite the business model// Meta is earning a fortune on a deluge of fraudulent ads, documents show - www.reuters.com/investigatio...

I mean this is viscerally upsetting because it's really genuinely him treating the white house like it's his own personal property; he's the king and it's his palace. No other president ever thought like this, even if they were a fucking horrible person, because it goes against our founding creed
I'm not a West Wing obsessed lib or anything but the more I see pictures of this the more fucked up I think it is. It's like he cut off one of the hands of the Lincoln memorial with an angle grinder so he could add a big gun to it.
The Treasury Department instructed employees not to share to share photos of the demolition of parts of the White House’s East Wing

Trump: "We took the freedom of speech away because that's been through the courts and the courts said you have freedom of speech, but what has happened is when they burn a flag it agitates and irritates crowds."

The Internet truly was Prometheus’ fire.

We as a society have yet to prove ourselves worthy of this much knowledge and connection.

All we’ve done with it is create new ways to hurt each other and to profit from hate.

We’ve sacrificed entire generations to it for NOTHING.

Trump’s allies now control X, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, & TikTok.

They own Fox News, CBS, WaPo, WSJ & NY Post.

They own Sinclair Broadcasting which has 200 tv stations and local news in 100 markets.

“Freedom of speech” is now what Trump and his billionaire pals say it is.
