I've learned and changed my mind about certain things that I've read on social media but never from people who choose insult as persuasion. I cling to the possibility that I could be wrong.
Notice people in the replies hating on Schumer and Jeffries are not offering suggestions on who should replace them.

We might have to do more to save ourselves than post whiny complaints on social media.
Winning elections is crucial this November, but it’s just the start. It’s about what we do with our power when we win that matters.

Read my vision for the future of the Democratic Party.
Inside DNC Chair Ken Martin’s plan to turn Democratic momentum into power
A year into Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin's reign, he's betting on organizing and infrastructure—not insiders—to turn momentum into power.

This is despicable and dehumanizing.

This type of dangerous bigotry has no place in Congress. He should take down this post, and Speaker Johnson and the House should hold him accountable.

I saw Jesse Jackson speak at Stanford in 1988. He spoke in, with perfect irony, White Plaza. He was an extraordinary speaker, a master of classic oratory. Conservative writer P.J. O’Rourke famously gave him a backhanded compliment on it:

Across the arctic region, the permafrost is disappearing. The phenomenon has been observed across the far-flung corners of the Arctic. In northwestern Canada, researchers have found rivers with the same orange colouring. Satellite imagery analysed by the FT and confirmed by experts at the University
Why rivers in the far north are turning orange
The brightly coloured waterways in the Arctic are a sign that permafrost is thawing, with potentially hazardous consequences

My response to abstentionism and third party discourse is usually to ask “Are you organizing anything around that?” and 99.9% of the time the answer is “no” and the interlocutor should go expend their political energy on literally anything else.

It’s probably the most tired debate in U.S. politics.

A person who ends up on a domestic terrorist watchlist might experience invasive questioning and searches every time they travel. It could also effect their ability to make financial transactions or get credit.
