What a goddamn charade. These people have been working to remove funds from public schools for decades. They will say these one-liners, but not actually offer any funding that could meaningfully support public schools' ability to feed kids healthy meals.

I am reminded of the near-constant incandescent howls of rage from conservatives when Michelle Obama helmed efforts to get healthier food in schools.
