In a spirit of "Oh, he's demanding formal wear for air flight, is he?":

This is where I remind folks that *all of these* are actual formal wear in certain cultures within the US and thus Acceptable for Planes (not that the Klavern in charge of the Dysadministration would get that):

God damnit that was a term I have not read since USENET (and even *then* it wasn't exactly something I *searched out*)

GOD DAMNIT. Do you have any idea how many truckloads worth of Malort I am going to need as mindbleach to purge "RFK" and "felching" in the same sentence from my brain?
November 27, 2025 at 4:06 AM
For the uninitiated, this is basically the "Made it past the first shot of Malort" experience, as personified by Data Star Trek: The Next Generation in Guinan's bar Ten Forward (who knew that the best barkeep in the Federation had a reserve of Malort dating back from the 2020s?)
November 11, 2025 at 4:51 AM
When the actual Malort trucks literally focus on Malort face (yes, this is a Thing) and include the text "Do not enjoy. Responsibly"...yeah, exactly what it says on the tin

In the general spirit of Bovino finally leaving Chicago, it is my opinion that @govpritzker.illinois.gov should present a bit of a parting gift in the spirit of Chicago (literally):

(And FWIW: Honestly the whole idea of Massie and MTG increasingly voting with Dems on certain issues like the Epstein Files and "open up the House" is what I'd term "Joker meets the Red Skull politics"; the reference: www.cracked.com/article_3202...)

There is an *actual* Constitutional requirement that Congress (both houses) MUST meet at least once yearly--and it's actually in the Constitution *twice*.

The first is Article I, Section 4, Clause 2 (picture 1 w/ alt text), the 2nd is Section 2 of the 20th Amendment (picture 2 w/ alt-text)

At this point, the whole "MUST OWN ALL THE DANISH THINGS" obsession TFG has is making me tempted to go "Donnie, show us on the MiniFig just *where* the Kingdom of Denmark touched you"

And yeah, he was actively trying to get homeless people arrested for passing counterfeit currency. For lulz. Not even kidding (and the present Dysadministration is in many ways actively WORSE)

There's a reason Ezekiel 16:49-50 calls out the sin of Sodom being "fuck the poor"
November 2, 2025 at 10:53 PM
Unfortunately, much more common are narratives from Sodom of people being attacked in their sleep (either limbs cut off if you went over the Standard Bed Length or stretched to the point of bones breaking/dislocations) and giving marked (and unusable) currency to beggars so they'd starve to death
November 2, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Eliezer (one of Abraham's servants) all but ends up as a trickster hero in much of the Sanhedrin narratives re Sodom, including That Time When He Weaponized Sodom's "Pay Your Assailant For Making Them Hit You" Law to make a *judge* in Sodom pay his own fine AND the time he raided a wedding party
November 2, 2025 at 10:13 PM
There are rare cases in Sanhedrin 109a and 109b where victims of the Sodomite legal system DID actually get their revenge/turnabout, and usually it involved weaponizing that legal system in their own favor--such as an orphan (who turned a Sodomite law penalizing the poor in forced labor) on its ear
November 2, 2025 at 9:46 PM
This literal "Fuck you, pay your assailants because you MADE them hit you" actually would often be compounded with OTHER offenses--such as a case where someone incurred the "shunpiking fine", refused to pay, was subsequently beaten by a mob, and then was ordered to pay the mob AND the fine:
November 2, 2025 at 9:35 PM
In general, the judicial system of Sodom was no help--the judges were so infamously corrupt they actually had NICKNAMES roughly translating to "Liar", "Chronic Liar", "Forger", and "Perverter of Justice" (yes, there are naming puns involved). Victims were generally required to pay assailants
November 2, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Other popular means of theft (and explicitly targeting visitors to Sodom entering for trade) involved fines for "shun-piking" as well as "flash mob thefts"--people coming in to take small amounts, but in large groups which wiped people out of goods altogether by a death of a thousand cuts
November 2, 2025 at 9:27 PM
And apparently relating the use of underground tunnels to "liberate" homes by Sodom actually caused a real controversy when a certain Rabbi Yosei related the story centuries later--which resulted in a rash of copycat crimes in Tzippori (and also notes the risks of discussing specific methods)
November 2, 2025 at 9:22 PM
I have mentioned that the Sanhedrin commentary re Sodom is very much "Fuck the poor", to the point of routinely stealing what little property the poor had, and even graverobbing was such a severe issue that guards had to be established over remains who had been interned with clothing/jewelry
November 2, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Per the next few narratives, apparently actual murders by "arranged accidents" (in order to steal property) and even some complex grifts to steal property (involving underground tunnels and use of incenses to "mark" a target by scent) were very much in play in Sodom to the point they became idioms
November 2, 2025 at 9:13 PM
Oh, the Sanhedrin spills a LOT of tea on Sodom (and I *myself* only really learned of it via someone who has been studying, definitely not something that tends to be in theology courses)

Things like Sodom's xenophobia got recorded in Sanhedrin 109a, to the point they didn't want to trade

This is where I make a minor note that Jewish religious court commentaries have held that the actual "sin of Sodom" (that pushed the Most High to decide to smite it) *wasn't* gay sex, or even angel rape, but a girl subjected to death by scaphism for feeding the poor www.sefaria.org/Sanhedrin.10...

But yeah, was also extremely amused at the Frankenweenie ref with a tiny Sparky Keyblade. Truly, Tetsuya Nomura is a man of culture (yes, Tim Burton's first film being the 1984 live-action, then 2012 being the stop-motion animated remake; this is the remake version of Sparky)
November 1, 2025 at 1:46 AM
Now, IS this a minor Easter egg? Maybe, maybe not, wouldn't put it entirely *past* Nomura to put in tiny TWEWY easter eggs tho

(Yes, I will always call the Lucky Emblems "Hidden Mickeys" because that in KH IS an in-joke on how Disney Imagineers put hidden Mickey heads in designs in theme parks)
November 1, 2025 at 1:42 AM
I'm familiar with the older Halloween Town Sora, that one had bat wings

Right wing in the new Nomura pic does look batty, the left one DOES look a lot like TWEWY Reaper wings (that kind of "wrought iron fence" look) with a hint of Burton-esque styling (it doesn't appear to be *entirely* the thumb)

Bonus: This is an Inversion.

This is not a Nazi skull. This is a sign that the Higher Plane has decided your particular corner of reality (AND its associated Underground/Purgatory) is to be forcibly removed from existence, and the Higher Plane is equal-opportunity in the matter of ending EVERYONE
October 26, 2025 at 11:21 PM
This is the "Reaper Pin"/Player Pin (Shinjuku GM version) from NEO: The World Ends With You. Still not Nazi.

The good news is you're less likely to be dead; the bad news is that you still are in the Reaper's Game, *AND* this time you must deal with toxic social media influencers
