Week 1 status of toe amputation, Good!
Still recovering, still uncomfortable and I am not the most mobile, but even the recovery turns out less painful then having the actual toe.
Now, watching husband change bandage, that was disconcerting... "THE CLAW"

My wife had a toe amputated last week due to a poverty exacerbated injury in childhood. She's doing great but you can tell.
I told her if asked she should say it was part of her gender affirming care surgeries as a transgender woman because that would be awesomely funny. Confuse the TERFs!

I know the Christian Nationalists take up a lot of oxygen in the religion/politics sphere but I've never seen anything like the faith group mobilization going on in Minneapolis. Houses of worship have decades of infrastructure and they're organizing to protect immigrants in the Twin Cities.

In honor of my surgery here is when I was auditing Boeing for the DoD and broke my foot (toe is in there) and Boeing replaced their first aid kit with a dirty pillow as I went to the hospital. fuckers.
