I’ve been thinking about “Sunday Best” dressing strategies of Black Americans during the civil rights movement.
They understood White supremacy so well, assimilating into respectability politics was a safety strategy for some.

Idaho had a $2 BILLION budget surplus in 2022. Our government is failing us to “reduce property taxes”, pay for other tax cuts, and fund BS private schools. I don’t know about others but my property taxes went up this year, just like they do every year.
