When you think of it, time travel is lazy and harmful bullshit which never should have been invented and any proper feminist movement should seek to abolish it.

When I say we need to think of pride and queer stuff outside of June and allies need to always show up: I meant a main event strap match between Kris Statlander and Thekla.
When you think of it, artificial intelligence is homophobic and harmful bullshit which never should have been invented and any proper fundamentalist movement should seek to abolish it.

Jack Duffy attaches a respirator to his bagpipes to play through tear gas. “I always play it whenever the police retreat because it's like, ‘You fucking ran while we stayed,’” he says.

if you have a ring camera you are a child, terrified of the silhouette of a jacket hanging on a chair. you are lower than a worm to me. you have sold your soul to a devil that has offered you nothing in return

it's either Across the Spiderverse ("canon event" is going to be a thing forever now) or Minecraft, if we mean entering the vernacular. If we mean as a cultural memory of the movie itself, probably Kpop Demon Hunters or Everything Everywhere All At Once.
What 2020s movie has the greatest cultural footprint?
Note: This is not necessarily about box office, Oscars, critical acclaim, though all of those can count. It's more... pieces of it have so completely permeated our cultural groundwater that it will always be there.

that's the thing about all these people - the "artists" and "writers": they want to be able to *call themselves* an artist/writer, to *have produced work* without having to *actually work*. they're like some kind of capitalist midboss, the labor is meaningless, only the commodity holds value.
The whole article is repulsive but this passage is at the core of it. She has no interest in writing books, she wants to win some kind of competition that nobody entered
